わら縄を左縒（よ）りに，わらの尻を三・五・七筋と順にはみ出させて垂らし，
間に紙の四手（Shide）を下げる
特に，神事における神聖な場所を画するために用いられます

大山祇の子孫 乎知命（おちのみこと）は、
神武天皇ご統制に先立って四国に渡る途中に大三島にお祭したそうです。
その、乎知命 御手植えの楠は樹齢2600年！

素晴らしい大樹に わたくし、ただ ただ、見上げていました
この大樹は、どれほどの歴史と人を見てきたのかしら . . .

大山祇神社 拝殿
摂社の南門は大雷神（おおいかづちのかみ）
北門は高お神（たかおかみ 龍神）
摂社：本社に付属し，祭神と縁故の深い神をまつった神社（本社と末社との間に位す）
御桟敷殿に実った稲は１６人の早乙女たちによって、鎌で切って収穫される伝統があります
早乙女たちは田植えから収穫までを神事として携るそうです
山と海の繋がりがあって、実りがあるのでね
瀬戸内 見た目は 穏やかです
