新元号が令和に決まって以降、万葉集関連の書籍が飛ぶように売れているそうです。万葉の時代といえば . . .

紀州・和歌浦は、まさに万葉の時代から天皇たちに愛されてきた和歌をインスパイアする地です。京都にはない魅力があります。

Kishu Wakaura is a land that inspires the waka that has been loved by the emperor since the age of Manyo.　

WAKANOURA has a charm not found in Kyoto.

「万葉集」　（奈良時代末期〜平安前期）

日本最古の歌集、かつ、日本最大の古典です。

長歌・短歌・旋頭歌（せどうか）など4500首以上が集められた和歌集。

"Manyoshu" (Late Nara Period ~ Heian period)Japan the oldest songbook, and Japan the greatest classics, A poem collection of more than 4500 poems, such as Naguta, Tanka and Sedoh-ka.

歌の作者たちは、天皇・貴族・官僚・防人・農夫・・・

奈良時代以前の和歌も収録されてます。

The authors of the song are the emperor, the aristocrat, the bureaucrat, the person, the farmer. The Japanese poem before the Nara period is also included in the Manyoshu.

その中で、

紀伊国を題材にした和歌は、110首も！

「紀伊万葉」と呼ばれます。

天皇のお出かけ「行幸」GYO-KOH ; The Emperor's outing

海無し県から憧れの海辺へ

第45代　聖武天皇のお出かけ　The 45th Emperor SHO-MU

　724　（海のない奈良平城京から）紀ノ川に沿って、数日をかけた徒歩旅で、和歌浦へ。官僚・宮廷歌人らも随行。

724 He went to Wakano-ura from Nara Heijo Kyo without the sea by a few days ' walk along the Kinokawa River.Bureaucrats and court poets also accompanied.

「玉津島　よく見ていませ　あをによし　平城（なら）なる人の　待ち問はば いかに」

（「玉津島六山」 . . .潮が引くと、陸続きの山となり、満潮時には玉のように海に連なる。その美しさを奈良で待つ人のために良く見てきて）

感激の余り、地名変更を命じました。

「弱浜わかのはまを改めて、明光浦あかのうらとせよ。この地を今後、荒れ果てぬよう玉津島の神と明光浦の霊をお祀りせよ。」

It's one of the six mountains of Tamushima. Emperor SHO-MU was impressed by the superb view from here.

ここは和歌三神の1つ（あと2つは 住吉さんと柿本神社）

Tamushima Shrine (At the foot of the Tengu Mountain, its main shrine is located on the middle) It is one of three poems.

御祭神：衣通姫尊 そとおりひめのみこと 絶世の美女・第19第　允恭 いんぎょう 天皇の妃・和歌の女神。住吉明神・柿本人麿。

本殿は春日造り。蝋色塗り（漆工芸の1つ）

The main building is Kasuga. Wax Painting color coating (one of Japan lacquer crafts)

内陣の3面に和歌浦の風景が色鮮やかに描かれています。

The interior is rich in decoration, and the landscape of the Wakaura is drawn on the three sides of the inner team.

根上松は14世紀頃、和歌浦のシンボルでした。

当時の玉津島神社の御神体は7本の根上松だったそうです。

NE-AGARI-MATSU ; It was a symbol of Wakaura in the 14th century. At that time, the sacred body of Tamushima Shrine was seven root pines.

境内には、大正10年に和歌山市高松から移植された この根上松が、今も見られます。

In the precincts of the shrine, in 1921, there is a root pine tree transplanted from Takamatsu, Wakayama City, and we can see it now.

和歌浦を名勝として全国的に有名にさせた歌・・・

「若の浦に潮満ち来れば潟を無み　葦辺をさして　鶴（たづ）鳴き渡る」

2017　和歌浦は日本遺産に認定。

YAMABE-NO-AKIHITO's famous Waka

A lot of cranes which came across from the continent fall into the tidal flats, and the appearance to pecking food.The song was made famous nationwide as a scenic spot, praising the scenery full of vitality, such as beautiful Tamamo which looks like the Wakaura.

2017 Japan was certified as a legacy.

ろう橋　玉津島神社の南表に架かる石造りの太鼓橋

1850　嘉永3　第10代・紀州藩主の徳川治とみによって架けられた

石造りの太鼓橋は、本州ではとても珍しいそうです。

高欄には雲がデザインされたレリーフがあります。

ROH / LOH Bridge

A stone pot bridge over the southern table of Tamushima shrine 1850 Kanaga 3 The bridge built by the Tokugawa Osamu, the primary and the Kishu clan.

The stone-pot bridge is very rare in Honshu.

There is a relief that the cloud was designed in the high column.

三段橋 SAN-DAN BASHI

　妹背山（玉津島六山の1つ）に通じる和歌山県内最古の橋で、

　400年余り前の原型を留めています。

The oldest bridge in Wakayama prefecture that leads to Senback Mountain (one of the six Mt. Tamakushima)Fasten the prototype of 400 years ago！

(今年の春とは、もう分かれたと思っていたが、和歌浦に来てみれば、晩春の景色が残っていた。春に追いついて再会できたように感じる）
