傘美人たちは

多くの絵師たちの画興をそそってきたようです。

和紙と柿渋

　雨の多い日本では傘文化も発達しました。

和紙でつくられた和傘は、職人によって「柿渋」が塗られて強度が与えられます。

KAKI-SHIBU

渋柿の若い果実から果汁を絞り、それを発酵させた液体。濾して使用されます。

柿渋は、漆器の下塗りや，木や紙などの防水と防腐剤として塗られます。

KAKI-SHIBU;it's a liquid that made of green astringent persimmon juice is fermented for waterproof , antiseptic etc.

高下駄を履いている女の子です。

高下駄は、雨の日の外出で、裾を汚さない為の履き物です。

雨が止んでヤレヤレと言った感じ。

　枝垂れ柳は、梅雨の雨を飲んで、ますます緑を濃くしていきます。

Taka-geta is footwear not to pollute the hem even if going out on a rainy day.

59歳の作　新妻Niitsuma（Wife of Newlyweds） the innocent of the brow brow.　

新妻ですね。

昔は、女性は結婚したら眉を剃り落し、お歯黒をつけました（結婚年齢が若すぎる頃は、良くないな男尊女卑の時代でした）. . .要するに、結婚後の女性たちを、他の男たちから魅力的に思わせない策だった？のでは？

しかし、松園さんは、当時の慣習下の既婚女性たちにある、凛とした佇まいを描きました。それは母さまの姿と言われています。

It is Niitsuma. In the old days, after marriage, women shaved their eyebrows and painted their teeth black.

和傘は

竹の骨に和紙が貼られています。和紙には柿渋が防水＆防腐剤として塗られます。和傘は自然の素材だけで作られます。

（柿渋：渋柿の若い果実から搾った汁を発酵させ濾した液のこと。漆器の下塗りや，木麻紙などの防水防腐剤として塗る）

Japanese umbrellas are attached to bamboo bones.Kakishibu is painted as a waterproof preservative on washi.

WA-GASA is made only of natural materials.

Kakishibu It is the liquid that straining fermented the juice squeezed from young fruit of persimmon. Lacquer ware, wood, hemp, paper, and other waterproofing, and are painted as preservatives.

和傘は、歌舞伎や舞踊の重要な小道具の1つです。

傘の歴史

傘の歴史は4千年も前に遡るようです。

当時のエジプトやペルシャでは傘は貴族や僧の日除け用。

羽毛などで派手に飾られました。例の、権威を見せつける感じ？

傘が、一般へも広まったのはギリシャ時代。

傘は、贅沢な女性のオシャレ品としてヨーロッパ〜世界へ、少しずつ普及しました。

今でもパリには、19世紀の絵画と同じスタイルのアクセサリー日傘が製造販売されてます。

　ハンウェーさん

18世紀後半にやっと?? 雨傘として使われ始めた、そのキッカケは、ある男性；英国人・ハンウェーさん。

ハンウェーさんは、布に防水加工を施した傘を作り、

　「傘をさして町を歩きました」

Finally in the late eighteenth century??There was a man who began to be used as an umbrella and became a trigger.Mr. British Han.Mr. Han made an umbrella with a waterproof cloth and walked around town.

「 . . . ふつうのことよね？」　私たちにはそう思いますよね。

でもハンウェーさんは . . .奇異な目でみられました。

なぜなら、当時のUKでは、傘とは女性たちがさす日傘の事でした。

　「男が傘を？！しかも、雨の日に？！」

なんと、嘲笑すらあったとか。

「 . . . It's normal, right??」We think so, right?

But Mr. Han...It was seen with an odd eye.

The umbrella of those days was a parasol for women.

” look! a man is holding an umbrella!」 "And he's holding an umbrella on a rainy day! " He was even ridiculed by the people.

でも、「イギリスは、いつもどんより曇ってて、気が滅入るよ」

ドリトル先生がこぼすくらいの気候 . . .

英国人たちは、雨の日は一体、どうしていたの？？

湿気った衣類は不衛生でしょう？

But, "Britain is always cloudy and depressing," the climate should be troubled by doctors Dolittle...What did the Brits do at the time of the rainy day? Their moist clothing would be poor hygiene?

ハンウェーさんは、分からず屋の民衆を意に介さず、雨傘をさし続け、そのうちに、男女共に雨傘を使うのが普通になった . . . 。

　30年もかかって！(⌒-⌒; )

日本では傘は欠かせません。

《日本は降雨量が多い・一般的な清潔感が世界トップクラスである・近隣諸国の大気汚染のせいで雨に汚染物質が混じってる》などが「サッと傘をさす」理由でしょう。
