石灯籠 ISHI-DOUROH a stone lantern.

　（種類はとても多い。There are a lot of types ） 社寺の献灯や庭園の装飾として用いられる石製の灯籠。

スタンダードタイプは上部から，

宝珠（ほうじゅ） 笠（かさ） 火袋（ひぶくろ） 中台（ちゅうだい） 竿（さお）そして 基礎からなる。

common type : Hoh-jyu / Kasa / Hi-bukuro / Chu-dai / Sao & Base .

長谷型 吊り灯籠

長谷寺は登廊が印象的ですね。

The temple of Hase's NOBORI-ROH (steps like nave)

is impressive.

登り口の左右には

「仏の教えが有る所」「諸天が在るところ」

と言う意味の言葉があります。

閻魔さんが

徳道上人の夢に現れて 3つの宝珠を授け、

「観音霊場を開け」と指示を出したとか。

「観音さまは33の姿となって衆生の救いに応える」とされますので、徳道さんは33の霊場を作ったそうです

長谷寺の登廊は、人生に例えてられるそうです。
