今回は『舞扇』

This time I introduce [ about the MAI-OOGUI fan]

写真のように、

種類によってサイズがずいぶん違うでしょう？

舞扇は紙製ですので、

お稽古するうちに、弱ってきます。

使い込むうちに、緩んできます。

お稽古はちょっとやりにくくなります。

よくお稽古した舞扇は、

糸は外れ、地紙は破けてきます。

お扇子塚へ持っていく人はいますが、

うちではそれはやりません。

. . .一緒に頑張ってきたのですから、

その扇子を ”捨てる” のは、ようしません。

[ 木綿糸を、舞扇の骨の間に通して締める方法 ]

これは

先輩から教わりました。

指が当たって

ちょっと破けた部分と、

開閉で弱った地紙の部分は和紙を貼ります。

. . . これで、まだしばらくお稽古できまーす (⌒-⌒ )v

をどり・舞踊の習得には

期間がかかります。

どうしても、です。

” 単なる ” 動きや技術が

「をどり」になるまでには

相応の期間がかかるのは

普通のこと。

自分を向上するために

欠かせない扇子は、

ちょっと、相方みたいに思えます。

使い込んだ舞扇も

宝物と言えますね！

MAI-OOGUI / OHGUI (dancer’s traditional fan ) made of Wa-shi paper .

little by little , it get weak during practice .

The thread come loose , Wa-shi paper a little tear . . .

In that case , we try to repair it .

For tighten ,pass a cotton thread between the bones of MAI-OOGUI .

for the time being ,I use it .

There are some memorial mound for used MAI-OOGUI .

But , Mother &I we want not do that .

Because, I practice with MAI-OOGUI , so , that’s like a partner ,we think .

the Well-used MAI-OOGUI is a treasure for us .

お扇子の袋

舞扇は袋に入れて

保管したり、

持ち運びます。

袋もそれぞれ

美しいでしょう？

うちでは、

本番用の舞扇は

箱に入れてます。

劇場やホテルへ運ぶ際に型崩れさせない為です。

The fan can be stored in a bag or carried.Each bag is beautiful, isn't it?In our house, the fan for production is put in the box.The reason is not to make the fan type crumble when carrying to the theater and the hotel.

お祝いの席での扇

金銀の祝儀扇（末広 suehiro）はカワイイサイズ

18cm X 24cm .

結婚式・披露宴の際に

帯に左寄りに挿します。

（立礼のときのみ、右手で要を持ち、左手を添えます）

ところで、ご存知でした？

「扇子は日本の発明です！」

SEN-SU (fan) is one of Japanese Inventions .

扇子の歴史　　The history of 扇子Sen-su .

まず、

檜扇をご存知ですか？

Do you know HI-OH-GUI ?

平安時代　

① 檜（HINOKI Japanese cypress.）の

薄い白板をとじ合わせて作られた扇のことです。

HEI-AN period that fan was innovated .

衣冠( I-KAN. 2nd formal dress.)

平安中期以降，束帯に次ぐ正装。

束帯から下襲（SHITA-GASANE）と石帯を省いて，

表袴（UE-NO-HAKAMA）と指貫（SASHIMUKI）に代えた

活動的な服装で文官武官の別なく広く用いられたとの事)

または

直衣（NOH-SHI）のとき，

笏（SYAKU）に代えて持ったのが檜扇。

（檜扇は、持つ人の位によって、板の枚数に差がある）

② 檜の薄板を

色糸でとじた絵扇。

貴婦人が礼装時に

開き持ちました。

平安時代初期は、

紙はとてつもなく貴重でしたので、

「宮中の記録は檜扇に書かれた」との事。

（俳優祭で、オソロシイかぐや姫を演じた猿之助さんが持ってましたね「我の婿になる男は美男子である事」と、書かれているテイで読み上げていましたね）

緋扇：檜の薄い白板をとじ合わせた扇。衣冠または直衣 Nho-shiのとき，笏 Shakuの代わりに持った。位により板の枚数に差がある。

儀礼用の扇子として宮中で使われたようです。

At Court people wrote on the " HI-OHGUI “

平安中期には、

檜扇に

装飾がされ始めました

そのうちに（檜の薄板でなく）

紙で作られた扇（KAWA-HARI）も生まれました。

　In the middle of HEI-AN period , was born " paper fan

" for a fashion item .It's for noblemen , Priest's rite .

紙扇の用途

最初は、貴族のファッションアイテム・

僧侶・神官の儀式アイテムでした。

It was a ritual item of monk priest.

鎌倉時代、

禅宗の僧が中国へ扇子を伝えました。

室町時代

紙扇が発明されて広まり始め、

江戸時代には、

一般の人も暑い時に扇ぐツールとなったそうです。

EDO period common people started to use the fan .

↓ 江戸の扇作り店

扇作りの店で職人さんが竹を削っていますね.

The craftsmen cut the bamboo in the shop of the fan making.

多分、専用の小刀が使われて扇の骨が作られています。

Perhaps, a special knife is used and the bone of the fan is made.

↓ 扇面の地紙は正確に折りたたまれます。

The ground paper of the fan surface is collapsed accurately.

地紙は2枚重ねられ、その隙間に骨が差し込まれます。

これも見た目よりカンタンではありません↓

Two pieces of ground paper are piled up, and the bone is inserted in the gap. It's not as easy as it looks.

パリ万博で扇はヨーロッパに知られ、

スペインでも作られるようになったのです。

European people meted Japanese fan at the international exposition. PARIS .

カルメンのアバニコ（扇）は

よく知られた小道具ですが、

元は日本の扇子だったのですね。

お扇子には種類があります。

Japanese Fan has many type .

檜扇は、十二単を着る儀式に今でも使われています。

また、平安時代の設定の歌舞伎や映画などで

目にされたことでしょう。

HI-OHGUI for JYU-NI-HITOE ( a layered kimono worn by a Japanese court lady on a ceremonial occasion. ) or for the ceremony for the Imperial Court .

一般の人が暑い時に

「扇ぐ用の夏扇子」

夏扇子には涼しげな

菖蒲の透かし細工。

Summer fan

白檀でつくられた扇　扇ぐと良い香り . . .

It's made of sandalwood .When you fan it , give off the fragrance. Smell is wonderful .

「舞踊用の舞扇」

MAI-OHGUI for Traditional Dance .

Never do fan it .It's not a tool .

舞扇の寸法　30cm X 50cm。

骨は10本。

茶道で相手との結界

（境界）、

弁えを示す礼義として閉じて

使用されます。

扇子のデザイン　Design

19世紀江戸時代の贅沢豪華な振袖。どこかの姫用ですね。ぬめ地に御簾・檜扇の模様。

「扇は末広がりで縁起が良い」ので、焼物にも。

織部焼の蓋物です。

お扇子と礼

これはお茶席での礼です。

このお辞儀は日本舞踊のお辞儀と同じです。

This O-JIGUI ( bow ) the same of Tradutional arts .

日本舞踊の場合は

今からお稽古する舞扇を自分の前に起きます。

「結界」です

「教える師」と「教わる立場」の弁えを、明確にします。

その弁えは

「指導する立場になるまでの努力を継続された師への

礼義」なのですね。

NIHON-BUYOH (traditional Dance) put oun MAI-OHGUI- ( dancer's fan ) in front of one's and bow ,That way is an expression as " Respect for the Master ( teacher ) “

ところで、
