日本舞踊の実乃鈴がご紹介する「舞台化粧」と「見得」

歌舞伎の化粧は、

登場人物の性格を、明らかに表現する演出です。

In KABUKI ,the make up clearly indicates

the type of character being portrayed .

血気盛んな弟と、賢明な兄と言えば

The hot blooded younger brother & sensible older brother .

お馴染み「曽我兄弟」ですね。

構え KAMAE

「見得 MI-E」

重要かつ興味深いポーズですね。

The memorable poses struck by actors at significant moments called 見得 MI-E

are another hallmark of KABUKI

弁慶が山伏問答の際に決める見栄の1つ『不動の見栄』

不動明王の像に似せています。

他の見栄にはない静かなで威厳に満ちたムードです

日本舞踊には「三ッ首（みつくび）」というキメがあります。

3段階に分けた首の動きを

演奏の間合いとシンクロさせてキメます。

同じ三ツ首でも、小娘、芸者、武家、年配 . . .

細かな表現の違いで演じ分けます。

In the Japanese Traditional Dance there is MITTSU-KUBI /MITSU-KUBI .That is a head movement technic (3 steps) .

1 Mitsu-kubi ,But , young girl ,Geisha ,Samurai-familly ,elderly person . . .each play is expressed by each fine expressions movement .

歌舞伎の「見得」も

だいたい、2〜3段階でキメられます。

まず、

脚を大きく開き、体のポジションをキメます。

観客から大きく見える方法です。

Executing a MI-E involves tree steps .

1st. the actor spreads his legs wide apart & positions his body in the way that is most visible tenth audience .

地方さん（演奏）の間合いとシンクロさせ、

あの独特の [頭部の揺れ ]

観客の視線を役者の顔に集中（フォーカス）させます。

He then wiggles his sead tundra the audience’s attention to his face ,

そして、

目も大袈裟に動かして、

演奏間合いを合わせて

キメます。

（顔のパーツを大袈裟に動かすのは、舞台から遠い 後方の席からでも見える工夫）

Finally , he moves his eyes in an exaggerated manner & them freezes .

このように、

見得の3ステップは、

映画のズームショットのようにドラマティックな効果を創り出すのですね。

Because the 見得 MI-E is done in these 3 steps it creates a dramatic effect.

It’s like a zoom shot in film .

荒事の主役は歴史上のヒーローを演じます。

In ARA-GOTO plays ,the main actors play the roll of legendary heros .

芝居でも姫や10代の娘の衣装です。

（未婚女性は振り袖 とされたのは、

昔は20歳までに結婚していたからでしょう）

Also in KABUKI ,FURI-SODE indicates that the character is a princess or a young lady .

　(“ FURI-SODE for unmarried women Kinomo " .Because marriage used to marriage about 20 years old before .)
