代々続いている漆器屋さん

そのご夫婦と仲良くなりました

「古い屏風があるので ごらんになりますか？」

奥へ通していただいて . . .

なかでも

わたくしが気に入ったのは、屏風の下を飾っていた

ご主人は、若いうちから ボーイスカウトや、多くのお付き合い・活動でお留守。（お店は ずっと奥さんに任せきり）

その広いお付き合いとお人柄を見込まれて、推薦されたものの・・・

「当時は まだ30歳だったから、最初はお断りしてた. . . 」

しかし、ついには、

当時の市長が 徹夜覚悟で訪れて このお座敷に座り込んで説得されたそうです。

「市長に そこまで言われたら」

　以来40年。
