EUは、最近まで、かつぶし輸入禁止デシタ（鰹節）

「麹菌を持ち込む」とかで

けど、パリをはじめ、フレンチ等々のシェフらは かつぶしを重視！

話を町家に戻しましょ

日本家屋の問題点は、「あんまり・・・快適やない」

RC構造の集合住宅とは違って、すきま風が・・・

窓も、サッシみたいにキッチリ閉まらへん

京都の建て方「夏を宗とすべし」

エゲツナイ [盆地の酷暑] に対処する建て方が重視されます

京町家の坪庭は、採光と換気の役割も持つ

「うなぎの寝床」と称される京町家には、グッジョブな知恵です

「そもそも、なんで、家が 細長〜いん？」

「昔は、税金が間口に比例したからです」

同じ面積なら、間口が狭い方がトク

この、間口税は、世界各国にもあったのが、おもしろい

そーゆー人らの考えることは、古今東西、一緒なんやね、

したがって、盆地底冷えする冬は、耐えんとしゃーない状態

そんな 非快適は、近代化とともに 嫌われたのね・・・

日本に数人しか、手縫いスキルを持つ人はいないとか・・・

京都には、お１人いらっしゃるそうです

皆、嬉しそう！

わたくしも、欧米へ目が向いてた頃もありますから、世間の気持ちも経てきました

でも、はた、と気づいた

「ニッポン、スゴすぎる」

目に入ってるだけ、と、

見る こと、は、

似て非なるクオリティです

わかったつもりだった伝統も実際に体験なさると、その意味が伝わります

わたくしも、改めて調べ初め・・・

知ってたことの裏付けと、知らなかったことの探求

「面白〜〜〜い！！！」

外人さんらに、誤解があってもおかしくない

でも、間違った認識は、正しくないと教えてあげたいわ

知らん顔なんて、牛でもできる

それはラクする、やのうて（ではなく）横着・ズボラ

後悔、先に立たず

でも、ブログも動画も、制作は私にはラクやないのー

The Kyoto construction method "should be based on summer"The focus is on dealing with the harsh summertime heat of the basin.The courtyard of a Kyomachiya serves as a source of light and ventilation.In the Kyomachiya, known as "eel beds," this is a clever design."Why, in the first place, are houses so long and narrow?""In the past, taxes were based on the width of the house."If the area is the same, a narrower width is more advantageous.Interestingly, the frontage tax existed in many countries around the world.The way people think, throughout history and across cultures, is quite similar.Therefore, the winter cold in the basin is something one has to endure.Such discomfort was despised with modernization...However, traditional Japanese houses are a treasure trove of the best ideas, skills, and aesthetic values of the time.

Tatami that can only be found in JapanThe artisans who make tatami using traditional methods are also on the red list...There are said to be only a few people in Japan who possess the hand-sewing skills for tatami...In Kyoto, there is one person.The hallmark of a tatami craftsman is that "the corners of the edges (HELI) are perfectly sharp!"A meticulously crafted tatami is so cool!!!

Ah! The scent of new tatami, the aroma of igusa! It makes me feel incredibly happy. A refreshing fragrance that should be celebrated worldwide! The beauty of Japanese architecture - stripes. The evenly spaced shadows reflected on the tatami create neatly arranged stripes. Because of meticulous work, these stripes are beautifully aligned. During the Edo period, ukiyo-e artists also depicted striped shadows.Variations of ceilings. A ceiling with wooden planks is standard. A ceiling crafted with hinoki wood planks woven together, known as a 'ajiro' ceiling, feels nice too. Having variations in everyday life makes it more enjoyable. The 'go-ten-jyo' seen in the imperial palace and castles features a high-design often applied to places where esteemed individuals sit or reside. An even more upscale 'oli-age-go-ten-jyo' is meant for emperors and shoguns. The wooden frame of the go-ten-jyo is envisioned as a picture frame, with flowers painted inside each one. The 'flower go-ten-jyo' is wonderful! In Kyoto, you can see this in temples, and I've also seen it in a hot spring bathhouse. How luxurious!

I began to research again. The confirmation of things I knew and the exploration of things I didn't know is 'so much fun!!!' I want to widely share these interesting findings. I started this blog with that feeling. Additionally, for foreigners who want to learn Japanese, I'm also putting in effort to provide English translations, phonetic spellings, and subtitles in videos. Nowadays, even Japanese people don’t know Japan. It’s an embarrassing matter. What I often hear from people who have experienced shame abroad is this: 'When meeting people from various countries, they brag about their own country's traditions, customs, and arts, but I couldn't talk about my own country.' This is a common story that many share. Therefore, it’s not surprising that foreigners might have misunderstandings. However, I want to correct their misconceptions. Ignoring it is something even a cow can do. That’s not about relaxing; it’s about being lazy and irresponsible. Regret comes too late. But creating this blog and videos is not easy for me! I hope you understand that. I wish I could do it easily with just a snap of my fingers. But still! 'Effort will not betray you!' The predecessors worked hard with that feeling. I will surely receive my reward. I wonder when it will come. Let's look forward to it and smile in anticipation!
