「祇園祭は 浄めの祭り」
863年 祇園御霊会（疫病退散）が 祭の始まり
その頃、自然災害が全国に多発
災害後は感染症リスクが増加しますので、それと思われる疫病も多発・・・
そんな世をどうにかせんと！
そこで、疫病退散の祭りが始まったのね
その場所は、天皇が船を浮かべて遊ぶ用に作った神泉苑でした
今は、神泉苑は誰でも入れます
今や、動く美術館と称される祇園祭
世界中から観光客が大挙して押し寄せます
[お祭り] とは、神道や仏教の行事のこと （アトラクションや無いのね）
けど、
人は美しいものや、見事なものが だーいすき！
ついつい、集まる
実は・・・悪霊めらも 同じやそうです
昔々は、悪霊をおびきよせるために、
ハデハデ〜な ふりゅう踊り（風流と書くが、ふうりゅうとは異なる。洛中洛外図屏風に描かれてます）が、悪霊ホイホイやったんですね
（余談 ホイホイ ：某 G退治の 使い捨て粘着ワナの商品名。 好む匂いでおびきよせたけど、処分の際「見える」イヤ〜！ 今は やっつける系の 黒いワナが とても効くそうです）
最初は、当時の国の数（60数本）の幟だったのが、
町人経済が 活況になるにつれて、どんどん 立〜派な山鉾に飾られて！
今は、ご存知の通り！
ただ・・・祇園祭で １つ、とっても！ 困ってることが・・・
ゴミのポイ捨て！
やめましょ！
街や道も、神事の場です！
つまり、
「神さんが 見てますよー」
風水師も言うてました
「パワースポットに居ても、その場を汚す人に 幸運は来ません」

[ 行儀と礼儀は 相手への思いやり]
京都人は まぁ、うるさい方かな
おうち（家庭）のしつけもね、きっぱり叱るおうちが 普通
「お箸、ちゃんと持ちなさい！」
「ご飯つぶ、残しなはんな！！！」
お茶碗に ごはんつぶ、くっついたままで、「ごちそうさま」
それじゃ、食へのリスペクトは 感じへんねぇ
農家への敬意、母親への敬意があれば、一粒も残せませんね
それも、思いやり
お行儀。礼儀って、そういうこと
「カタクルシー」？1 それは違うよー！
今、数カ国のリーダーら！ お行儀悪いことば使い とか、
非人道の暴挙をしたから、世界から 怒りで見下げられても 平気？！ とか・・・
礼儀のないものどもが、世界を壊して、人々の人生を壊し・・・
うちらは、無礼や行儀悪いのは とても嫌います
「平和は 礼儀で作る」ボーッと待ってても平和にならんの
それは、伝統芸能の世界で 受け継がれてきた行儀なの
もちろん、うわべだけじゃだめよ！
礼儀の心、行儀良い行動こそが、芸を磨く基礎の重要な１つ！
先人が 大事に繋いできた「心」です
清めの 祇園祭から、
世界が 気持ちも清めて 意地悪も悪行も すぐ止める！
誰でも 一人で生きられへん！
誰がその水、電気、ガス、使えるようにしてくれてるの？
誰が食べ物つくてくれてるの？
生きる間の全ては、誰かが思いやってしてくれる仕事のおかげさまです
だから、
おもいやりを根本にすれば、
他者の人生を汚さない平和を作れるの！
それを 祈りつつ、祇園祭を 見物しましょね！
In 863, the Gion Goryo-e (a festival to ward off epidemics) marked the beginning of the Gion Festival. Around that time, natural disasters were happening all over the country. After disasters, the risk of infectious diseases increased, so epidemics also became common. People were dying from famine. Back then, any misfortune was thought to be the curse of evil spirits. That's why a festival to drive away epidemics started. The festival originally took place at Shinsen-en, which was built for the emperor to enjoy boating. Nowadays, Shinsen-en is a park that anyone can enter.
Nowadays, tourists from all over the world flock to the Gion Festival, which is called a moving art museum. A 'festival' refers to a Shinto or Buddhist event (not an amusement attraction). But, 'people just loooove beautiful and spectacular things!' So they naturally gather around. Actually... evil spirits are the same. Long ago, people held colorful and lively dance parades to lure those evil spirits.
But... at the Gion Festival, there's something really! troubling me. Littering! Let's stop it! The streets and roads are also places for sacred rituals! In other words, "The gods are watching you!" [Manners and etiquette are about consideration for others] It's by no means something stiff or formal.
Right now, the country's leaders have a problem.
They use rude language, commit inhumane acts, and even when the world looks down on them in anger, they don’t care?!
These impolite people are destroying the world! It’s unforgivable that they’re ruining people’s lives! We sometimes dislike people who are rude or ill-mannered. Because, "Peace is created through manners."
That’s a form of etiquette that has been passed down in the world of traditional performing arts. Of course, it can’t just be superficial!
A heart of courtesy and well-mannered actions are a high-level humanity that understands others and does not make them uncomfortable.
It’s one of the crucial foundations for refining traditional arts!
It’s the “heart” that our predecessors carefully passed down.
By witnessing the purification of the Gion Festival, the world’s hearts are also purified, and meanness and wrongdoing stop immediately!
No one can live alone! Who makes it possible for you to use water, electricity, and gas? Who grows the food for you? Who delivers it to you?
Everything in life is thanks to someone who, even if you never meet them, does their work with care for others!
So, if you base everything on compassion, you can create peace that doesn’t taint other people’s lives! With that in mind, let’s watch the Gion Festival!
