　左近の桜 ＆ 右近の橘

紫宸殿（ししんでん） 東方（カミテ）に桜が在ります

西側には橘の木

平安時代の朝儀のとき、

左近衛府の武官たちは、この桜の木から南に列し、

右近衛府の武官たちは、南階下の左＝西側（シモテ）に植えられた香り高い橘の木から南に列したそうです

　天皇から見ると左が東になります

In the Shishinden, cherry blossoms are located to the east (Kamite). On the west side(shimo-te), there is a tachibana tree.

During the morning ceremonies of the Heian period, the military officials of the Left Guard lined up to the south of these cherry trees.The military officials of the Right Guard lined up to the south of the fragrant tachibana trees planted on the lower left (the west side) of the southern stairs.　From the emperor's perspective, the left is the east.

　日本では 左が右よりも立場が上

右大臣より左大臣の方が立場は上位（遠山の金さん 景元は左衛門尉やね）

舞台でカミテ・シモテと呼ばれるのも、そこから来てますの

The Minister of the Right is in a higher position than the Minister of the Left.

This is also the reason they are referred to as Kamite and Shimote on stage.

全ての由来は、

「日が登る東は、日の入る西よりも大事＝上位」

「天皇は南面す（北側に南を向いて座る）」

（有職ひなかざりは 男雛を右を正式な伝統として継承）

北を上に見る地図 では　右が東、つまり、カミテ側

All origins come from,

知恩院さんは、シャトルバスもあって健脚でなくてもお参りしやすいの

右側には、緩やかな女坂もあります

けど、

古門から入って、坂を登るんは、ちと風情があって宜しいですよー！

（秋には色葉が舞い落ちる中を登ったり降りてったり・・・映画みたいどす）

巨大な秀忠さんの山門の、先の大階段には、流れる気を感じます

なるべく、登って気を感じはった方がよろしいね！

爽やかな風を心に招いて、アカン全てを吹き飛ばしましょ！
