上方（KAMI-GATA=OSAKA&KYOUTO）は歌舞伎だけでなく、

伝統芸能と食の発明や発祥の地です。

舞踊、落語、文楽（人形浄瑠璃）・うどん、蕎麦、田楽豆腐と木の芽味噌などなど

【上方狂言】kamigata-kyo-gen

京坂地方に発達した写実的な特徴をもつ歌舞伎狂言。

元禄期（1688〜1704）の坂田藤十郎の和事や，

宝暦期（1751〜1764）以後の義太夫狂言に代表される。

上方歌舞伎。上方：都の京都およびその付近。また，京阪地方や広く近畿地方をいう

KAMI-GATA : the Kyoto-Osaka district.　

KAMI-GATA＝OSAKA&KYOUTO is not only kabuki, but also the invention and birthplace of traditional performing arts and food. Dance, Rakugo (Lakugo), Bunraku =doll joruri, UDON noodles , SOBA noodles, DEN-GAKU Tofu KINO-ME-MISO（SAN-SHO tree bud miso）, etc.

【KAMI-GATA KYO-GEN】

Kabuki kyogen with realistic characteristics developed in the Kyozaka region.The Japanese Affair of Tojuro Sakata (1688-1704)It is represented by the yoshita kyokyo since the treasure calendar period (1751-1764).Kamigata Kabuki.Kamigata: Kyoto and its vicinity of the capital. 　

メインの役者を「一枚看板」 いちまいかんばんと言いますね。

元々、上方歌舞伎の飾り看板のことでした。

勘亭流（Kan-tei-ryu）で外題（ge-dai）を書き、その上にメインキャストの姿絵が描れた１枚の大きな飾り看板 → 転じて、その１枚看板に描かれる役者自身を言うようになり → 一般の大勢の仲間のうちでの中心人物も意味するように。上方から江戸へ出張った下り役者たちから広まったのでしょうね。江戸では大名題（おおなだい）といったそうですが、今では聞かれません。

上方歌舞伎　KAMIGATA-KABUKI

　重春「傾城雪月花」

上方歌舞伎の上方浮世絵です。庶民が楽しんだ当時の賑わいが想像できますね。

It is an upward ukiyo-e of kamigata kabuki. You can imagine the bustle of those days that the common people enjoyed.

【まねき】MANEKI

元は上方（京坂）で，臨時出演の俳優の名を書いた庵（いおり）看板を指していたとのこと。庵形の木のついた看板に役者の名と家紋が書かれます。（庵形とは 家の屋根をかたどった形）

歌舞伎のキャスト名が書かれたまねき上げは、京都四条の南座の風物詩です、毎年、ニュースになりますね。

江戸でのまねきは、初めは上方からの下り役者（江戸へ下るので）と，改名した役者の顔見世興行に限って用いられ、後に，主要役者から作者にまで用いられるように。

江戸時代の歌舞伎看板は 右から順に→ 一枚目主役→二枚目ハンサム→三枚目道化→四枚目中軸（全体のまとめ役）→五枚目＆六枚目敵役→七枚目は敵役のボスか黒幕・八枚目座頭、座長

【二枚目】＝二枚目看板。

近世，歌舞伎芝居の看板まねきの二番目に名が書き並べられたことから〕和事（Wa-goto）での男前役を指します。

【二枚看板】はチョット意味が変わります。

 一座のうちで，中心となる二人の出演者。また，二人の代表的人物。2topみたいかな？

It was originally referred to an IORI sign in makigata's playhouse with the name of an actor who appeared in a special performance.The actor's name and family crest were written on the sign board with the tree of the shape which shaped the roof of the house.MANEKI-AGE, with the cast name of Kabuki, is a tradition of the southern seat of Kyoto Shijo, and is reported in the news every year.

　The beginning of the MANEKI sign board in Edo was used only for the face show of the actor who changed the name after the business trip from the above to Edo.Maneki signs can later be used by both major actors and authors.

　Kabuki signs from the Edo period, →1st ICHI-MAI0ME= protagonist → 2nd NIMAI-ME = handsome → 3rd SANNMAI-ME = clown → 4th YONN-MAI-ME medium axis (overall summary role) → 5&6th GO-MAI-ME & ROKU-MAIME = enemy role → 7NANA-MAI-ME enemy role boss or 8th head-mai-me, Chair[Second sheet] = second sign.It refers to the handsome role in Wa-goto from the second name of the kabuki-play sign board in the early modern era.[Two billboards] the meaning will change.Two central performers in a seat. Two representatives. Looks like 2top?

【上方舞】KAMIGATA-MAI

近世以後，京坂で座敷舞として発達した舞踊の総称。

　This is a generic term for dances developed as ZASHIKI-MAI dances in Kyoto Osaka since the early modern era.

zashiki ; a Japanese-style guest room with tatami mats on the floor /drawing room .

舞も上方文化。

お座敷でしっとり踊られます

たいへん動きが制御されますので、見るとやるの違いが、とっても大きいです。

Mai is also an upper culture.

It is danced moistly in the sitting room.

The dance controls the movement of the body very much, so the difference in dancing is very large when you look at it.

【上方言葉】KAMIGATA-KOTOBA language

江戸時代には，京坂が中心の言葉は，広く全国にも よく理解されたので、一種の共通語的な性格を持っていたそう。

a Kansai accent / a Kansai dialect.　In the Edo period, kyozaka-centered language was widely understood throughout the country and had a kind of common language character.

上方落語 KAMIGATA-RAKUGO

発祥した初期は、町の雑踏に紛れない工夫がされました。

鳴り物で賑やかな楽しそうなサウンドを出し、小道具も使われました。

それらの効果は、道行く人々の足を止めて、落語を聞く気にさせたのです。

出囃子も、江戸落語が真似をしました。

In the early days of its birth, it was close to street performance, so rakugo was devised in the hustle and bustle of the town.In front of and during the talk, we had a lively and enjoyable sound with percussion, and a lot of props were used.These effects made me feel like listening to rakugo by stopping the people on the road.The DE-BAYASHI music played when rakugo artists went on stage was also imitated by Edo Rakugo.
