弓のフォルムは本当に美しい。
和弓は どのように作られるのでしょう？
The form of the bow is really beautiful .
How will the sum bow be made ?
余りにも美しいので
少し、ご紹介したくなりました。
I introduce it a little .
京弓 （京都の竹で作られます）
Kyoto bow (made with bamboo of Kyoto )
京都に唯一残る御弓師 二十一代 柴田 勘十郎 氏。The bowyer who stays in Kyoto alone
21s Shibata KAN-JUROH .
1534薩摩藩の弓術の師範として初代が仕えて以来、柴田 勘十郎 は受け継がれてます。Shibata is inherited since the first generation served it as an instructor of the archery of 1534 Satsuma feudal clans .
二十一代目さんは、竹を切るところから、
弓の製作から修理まで お一人でこなされます。
the 21st generation ,He cut bamboo , and make from the production of the bow to repair alone .
竹ひごとハゼの木でできた芯材を竹で挟み、接着剤で貼り合わせたら、
He pick up the heart made of the trees of bamboo goby with bamboo and laminate it with adhesive ,
すばやく縄を、弓の端から端まで縄を巻きつけます。
Quickly a rope of the bow wind a rope from tip to toe .
そして巻かれた縄の間へ、100〜120本の竹の楔が
1本ずつ打ち込まれます。
To between the rope which was also wound up a wedge of 100-120 bamboo ,By one of them is driven .
その後、打ち込む力加減を様々に変えて
美しい弓のしなりが形作られるのですね。

（もう1つ残った弓の産地、薩摩弓の竹は素直に育つらしい）

わたくしが弓道場へ通ったのは
「したことがないことで、自分に集中できる訓練」
と思ったからです。
I went to the Kyudo ground
Because it thought it to be that " it can concentrate on oneself one in what it has not done " .
わたくし、手の力は弱いので、
I , the power of the hand are weak ,
道場で一番、張力の弱〜い弓を選んでもらって
基本を教わり、
黙々と同じ動作を繰り返したものです。
それは、
とても良い時間でした。
The leader chose the weakest bow as me at a dojo studio.And I learned basics and repeated the same movement silently.It was very good time.
ただ・・・
右の腕だけが
かなり筋肉で太くなってしまいました。
左右の差が大きくなることは
舞踊家には余り良いことではありません。
やむなく休止しました。ちょっと残念なことでした
But ...Because only a right arm became considerably big
with muscle...,
The difference of right and left growing big It is not to be too good for a person of dancing. I stopped out of necessity. I was slightly disappointed.
見るのは今でも好きです
