今回のお題は

舞扇　MAI-OOGUI

the fan for Traditional Dance /one of the Art

舞扇. . . しみじみご覧になったことは、日本人でも、きっと多くはないでしょうね . . .。

長年、使ってきたわたくしでも改めて眺めると

美しいなぁ . . . フォルムに魅せられます

整えられた竹の骨（漆）・和紙（地紙）・美しい絵付 . . .

扇は日本の発明で、いろいろ種類はありますが、

舞扇は日本舞踊にのみ、使用されます

" Mai-Oogui " it's only be used for Japan dances .

Don't use it as a fashion.

日本舞踊は（ほんの数十年前までは）

良家のお嬢さんのお稽古事の1つでした❤️

しかし、今はほとんどの方がライブを楽しまれた経験すらないのです. . . 日本の伝統芸能、かつ、プロフェッショナルの芸を、もっと楽しめる場所や機会さえあれば良いのですね。

花街が華やかな頃、 接待はお座敷でした

ゲストへ披露する「芸事はおもてなし」なのです

The entertainment was a parlor when the Ka-gai / Hanamachi ware crowded.

"Accomplishment" is a welcome show to guests.

芸妓さんはもちろん、

接待側のお客さんも『もてなし術』としてお稽古（踊り・唄・三味線・鳴物）を習われたそうです。戦前と戦後しばらくまで。

Gei-ko(Geisha) of course, & the guests at the entertainment side were learning to practice as a ' hospitality art '.

Dance, Song, shamisen, musical instrument .

戦争までは、花街には楽器の音が常にありました。

三味線・鳴り物各種に謡。音楽があふれる通りや町角。

本当に羨ましいことです。

ヨーロッパへ行くと、街中に優れた芸事を見聴きします。

偶然に出会うそれらを心から楽しみつつ、又、

羨ましくも思います。

At that time, music such as the shamisen and noisemaker chanting were overflowing in the Hanamachi street and the shot.It is a really envious age.When you go to Europe, you can listen to great tricks and music performances in the city.While enjoying the entertainment from the heart to meet by chance, I also think envied.

戦前には、日本にも、

　日常にも芸能・芸事があったのです。

綺麗なお姉さん方が、お師匠さんのお宅へ通う。

接待役の会社員も芸の習い事へ通う . . . 。

素敵な教養の時代ですね❤️

ですので、

一般の方々も「鑑賞眼」をお持ちでした。

芸のプロたちも、一層の切磋琢磨をされた時代だったと

想像いたします。

舞扇は、

演目と役柄に合わせて品の良いものが選ばれます。 (本流では、最近のラメ入などケバケバしいのは決して使いません）

芸は、品格があってこそ値打ちがございます。

How to choose Mai-oogui

The good of the goods is chosen according to the act and the character.

(in mainstream, I never use bling such as the recent lame input)

『基礎の無い技術はなく、

技術の無い芸術もない』と云われます。

その基礎とは技術だけではなく感性も。

There is no technology without a foundation and no art with no technology. The basis is not only the technology

紫のは桜模様。

桜と言えば、

咲き誇る様を愛でる表現や、

ハラハラ舞う花びらを扇で受ける表現がございます。

儚さに美を見いだす

日本人の感性ですね。

手前の『天紅』

TENNBENI

地紙の天に紅色が染められています。

天紅は芸者（の役に）。

この浅葱と銀の舞扇は「きりりとした役柄」に似合うでしょう。気風の良い芸者や芸事関係の女性たちや、又、男舞に。This MAI-OOGUI suit the role as women of spirit.

これは目にも涼やか。風にそよぐ柳です。

天紅なので芸者のお役用と分かります。

『要』KANAME

肝心かなめの要です。

絶妙なアール(曲線)に仕上げた竹の『骨』hone に

美しく彩られた扇面SEN-MEN の地紙JI-GAMIが 差し込まれます。

それら竹の骨は、この要　kaname 一点で留められます。

それによって、スムーズな開閉が可能です。

でも、

さら（おニュー）は固く、

初心者は開くことができません。

コツが要ります。

（わたくしも子供の頃に

なかなか開くことができなかった思い出があります）

Have you looked at the fan carefully? The dancer's fan is for Japanese dance. The act to fan using this expresses lack of the culture. I want you to know that it is violated very rude manner. . I choose the fan by a program and a duty. left ; cherry blossam./ It called TENN(upper edge of fan) . It is called TEN-BENI( red ) use for the role of the Geisha. the bamboo called HONE(bone) in JI-GAMI paper ) . JIGAMI is drawn beautifully. The quality of the WASHI (Japanese paper ) is splendid, too. The right ; KANAME. gather up 10 bones of the bamboo in one point of here(called KANAME ) and

open and close it smoothly.

The important is the pivot (KANAME). It is the origin of Japanese words .

MAI-OOGUI is also Art , Not is a tool .
